Found this on Pinterest and my family loved it. This is a great one to give to a friend who just had a baby or someone who just needs help. We have a lot of those around here with so many students and single Mamas. Here is what the pinned said:
Pinner said: A friend of mine brought me this when I had surgery. Now it is my "go to" dish for taking to people who have had babies, surgery, etc. 4-6 raw chicken breasts, new potatoes, green beans (fresh or canned-really any green veggie would work. Broccoli is good, too). Arrange in 9x13 dish. Sprinkle with a packet of Italian dressing mix and then top with a melted stick of butter. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Enjoy!
I honestly threw everything in the pan and left to run a couple hours and came home and took it out of the oven and served it up. The chicken was super moist too! Now I want it for lunch:)

Blueberry Muffins with Crunchy top
I had so many blueberries in my fridge that we weren't eating fast enough so I made these puppies one morning and boy were they scrumptious!! Here is the recipe:
Oh my gosh I can't find the recipe, but I will find it in my history and add it in here so I can have the recipe for my records, because I don't want to let this one go.

Granny's Peach Cobbler
This is my Granny Pat's super delicious Peach Cobbler recipe and I have been looking for it for awhile and then realized it was on my family blog. My Grandparents were Peach, Almond, and Walnut farmers. I know. . . . yum and lucky for me, huh? This is her famous Easy peach cobbler.
Ingredients:
10-12 peaches sliced and sprinkled with sugar
1 C. Sugar
1 C. flour
3/4 C. milk
1 cube of butter melted
1 tsp. B. powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Slice up your peaches, place them in a pan, and sprinkle with sugar. Turn the burner on medium/low and soften up the peaches. After they are softened pour them into a greased pan. Combine the other ingredients and mix well. Pour the yummy cobbler sauce on top of the peaches and cook at 375 for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with ice-cream or whipped topping.
Thanks Gran! Love and Miss you
Sorry no pic!

Jello Pretzel Salad
I need to just get my Granny Pat's recipe, but this tasted just like hers. A little bit of sweet and a
little bit of salty. It was perfect for July 4th with blueberries on top!
Jello Pretzel Salad
by Lisa Poulsen
2 1/2 c. pretzels (crushed fine)
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 (6 oz) pkg instant strawberry jello
1 10 oz. pkg. frozenstrawberries or small container (16 oz) sliced fresh strawberries (I prefer fresh. I have also used blueberries and Im sure Raspberries would work too)
1 ( 8 oz ) pkg cream cheese
1 c. sugar
8 oz. cool whip
Combine pretzels, brown sugar, and melted butter and press into a greased 9 X 13 pan. You can use more butter if the crust isn't sticking together and make the pretzels more crushed than I did. Bake @ 350 for 10 minutes.
Make jello according to directions and add the strawberries. Refrigerate until partially set. *If it is not set enough it will leak through your cream cheese layer and make your pretzels soggy.
Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Blend in cool whip. Spread over cooled crust make sure you pread completely to the edges to create a seal so your jello doesn't leak through. Pour jello over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate.

Ham/Cheese Sliders and Ranch Red Potatoes
Not the best pic, but I had to remember this easy, yummy dinner idea. I have to remember everything that I make that my kids and Dr. Glenn love ( well Dr. Glenn loves everything I cook except Sweet potatoes). We loved this dinner!
Ham/Cheese Sliders:
Ingredients:
Hawaiian sweet rolls
Ham sliced thin
Monterey Jack cheese
Honey Dijon mustard ( for the grown ups)
Directions:
Pile everything on the sweet rolls and it makes a cute, yummy slider for lil mouths.
Ranch Potatoes:
Ingredients:
Red Potatoes cleaned and cut up. I cut up about 8 potatoes
Ranch packet
olive oil
Directions:
Clean your potatoes, cut em up and then throw them in a boiling pot of water until tender. Drain them and then pour them into a bowl. Drizzle olive oil all over the potatoes. Don't be shy with the olive oil. Sprinkle the Dry ranch packet on top and make sure to stir everything in really well. Lay the potatoes flat on a cookie sheet and place in the oven on BROIL for a few minutes. Make sure to watch em. They just need to be golden brown.
YUMMY EASY DINNER!

Crock Pot Macoroni and Cheese
Ingredients
- 8 ounces medium shell macaroni
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese or a Cheddar blend
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
- Cook the macaroni following package directions. Drain in a colander and rinse with hot water. Drain well.
- Generously butter the sides and bottom of a 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker (I use about 2 tablespoons of butter).
- Combine the macaroni with the remaining ingredients in the slow cooker and blend well. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours, stirring a few times.
- If desired, spoon the cooked macaroni and cheese mixture into a baking dish, sprinkle with a little more cheese, and put under the broiler for a minute or 2, just until cheese is melted.
- When the macaroni and cheese is done, feel free to spoon into a baking dish, top with a little more cheese, and put under the broiler for a minute or two for that “fresh from the oven” look.
