Sugaaa Cookies and Frosting

I got this recipe from one of my most favorite Young Women leaders. They are delicious and not too hard to make. No fancy ingredients and just pretty simple!
Sugar Cookies-
Ingredients:
2 C. shortening
2 1/4 C. Sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
4 1/2 T. milk
1 1/2 T. baking powder
3/4 tsp. Salt
6 C. flour
Cream together shortening, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs. Stir in milk. Add baking powder, salt and flour. Divide into 4 balls of dough and allow to chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours. When ready to use, allow the dough to warm up before rolling out. Roll out 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Cup desired shapes. Bake at 375 for 6-8 minutes. Allow to cool on pans for a few minutes. Makes 80 cookies. After completly cool, frost.

Recognize that it makes 80 cookies so half it like I do!

Frosting for Sugar Cookies-
Ingredients:
1 lb powdered sugar
2/3 cube softened margarine
1/4 C. milk
1/4 tsp. salt

Use whatever food coloring you wish!
